Our Terms


You confirm that you have read, understand and agree to the terms and conditions below and how we use your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. This includes our policy on the use of cookies.

General terms

1. By accessing our websites and services, you agree to be legally bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree to be legally bound by all of the following terms and conditions, do not access and/or use our products. We may change these at any time and we will do our best to keep you informed, but we recommend that you check them regularly as your continued use after any changes means that you agree to be legally bound by these terms as they are updated and/or amended.

2. The 24ID Network including this website and all products, projects and downloads are privately operated, free of charge and without any financial interests, but this may change in the future with the addition of premium features and chargeable products.

3. You agree to not submit or interact with our services in any abusive, obscene, vulgar, dangerous, hateful, threatening or any other manner that may violate any laws be it of your country, Germany, the European Union or International Law. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned and all contracts will be terminated without compensation.

4. As a user you agree to any information you have entered to being stored in files or a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent and we make every effort to protect it, we shall not be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.

5. Likewise, you are not entitled to use your user account together with others or to publish content in any form to third parties which is only meant for specific or registered users.

5A. If you need access for a group/company create individual accounts and open a support request. These accounts will then be connected and additional group features enabled.

6. We guarantee long-term support (LTS) for all our own products or the provision of source code with it's documentation if the former is not possible for any reason. You need to be a registered user to take advantage of these.

7. We do not provide any form of support for products that are inappropriate to our focus. This includes but is not limited to
all Apple products as well as Microsoft: Office, Outlook, Server products incl. Exchange. And we do not connect your printer.

8. Despite our best efforts and the fact that it is highly unlikely, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate any service without notice and without giving any reason. Especially in the case of force majeure. Any claim for compensation for data or the monetary value of services purchased will be cancelled.
It is therefore the user's responsibility to make regular backups and to be prepared for this type of disaster recovery.
